His Holiness Sivarama Swami has written several books, the most well-known of these the “Krsna In Vrindavan” series. Venu-gita is a first volume of the series and is based on Srimad-Bhagavatam 10:21 and the writings of the previous acaryas (guru-teachers in the line of disciple succession).

Srimad Bhagavatam or Bhagavata Purana, literally meaning Divine-Eternal tales of Supreme God is one of the maha (great) Puranic texts of Hinduism, with its focus on Bhakti (religious devotion) to Supreme God Krishna. The Bhagavata Purana includes many stories well known in Hinduism, including the ones describing various avataras of Vishnu and the life and pastimes of his complete incarnation, Shri Krishna.

A wonderful book of Lord Krishna’s transcendental pastimes. It is filled with delightful descriptions of the land of Vrndavan and the pastimes of its inhabitants, the beauty of Sri Krishna, the forest of Vrndavan, glorifications of His most beloved Radharani and His dear servant Giriraja, talks between Srimati Radhika and Her gopi friends, and much more.

This gallery contains all traditional, pencil on paper hand-drawn illustrations created by Tekla Huszár (Taralaksi Devi Dasi).
